MOTEL CONNECTION
Society has been deprived of its consciousness and virtues…
…squeezed under the heavy boots of the Institutions
The citizens are lone tired walkers of the grey city streets
with no more emotions to feel in their hopeless hearts
Somebody has the power to save us
a music band of heroes moves downtown
Now they are ready for the battle
They are the Motel Connection!
Goal:
controlling the Motel Connection 3 superheroes and using their supernatural powers and abilities, you shall free all the 3 districts of the city from the chains of the oppressive institutional authorities, before they enlarge their negative influence over your own district on the south-east quarter.

Complete in-game Tutorial is available while playing Motel Connection.

How to Play
Move Motel Connection team by using “WASD” keyboard buttons, while the mouse pointer controls the direction your character looks at (and also the target of your weapon/ability during battles: you can shoot by pressing the left mouse button
You always have direct control of only one of the three characters (Samuel, Dj-Pisti or PierFunk): the other two automatically follow you. The character you control is highlighted by a green box on the bottom interface bar.
When you want to switch the controlled character press SPACEBAR
When you want to look at the city map press M. The map indicates the actual position of the Motel Connection team and it shows only the city areas that you have just visited.
Use 1, 2, 3, 4 keyboard buttons to switch the weapon/ability of the controlled character (keyboard 1 activates weapon 1 and so on up to keyboard 4 that activates ability 4).
You can use/activate only the weapons/abilities with lighted icons on the bottom interface bar, while you cannot use the ones with dark icons.
The only special ability you may use in the normal view of the reality is Samuel’s InputOutput and DjPisti’s OtherView (more details afterwards). All other weapons and abilities are usable only during OtherView, which you’ll activate to identify and fight your enemies.
All character weapons/abilities consume energy (blue bar), apart from Samuel’s InputOutput, DjPisti’s OtherView and Samuel’s HyperSpace (more details afterwards). So, during the game and especially during the battles, watch the status of the blue energy bar of your 3 characters: when the energy is critically low some weapons/abilities cannot be used; when the energy bar is near zero no weapon/ability can be used, so Motel Connection are no longer able to fight. In this case you must escape from your enemies, come back to the normal view (“tuning off” the OtherView ability) in a safe area of the city (possibly using Samuel’s HyperSpace) and then recharge Motel Connection's blue energy bars with Samuel’s InputOutput ability used on happy citizens.
Ability 1 and 2 are ranged shooting weapons for all the 3 characters: select weapon 1 or 2 and then shoot your target with the left mouse button. Abilities 3 and 4 are special attacks or powers that are automatically activated simply pressing the related keyboard button without the need to press the left mouse button.
The 3 character have also a fifth special ability influencing all the team (their fifth icon on the bottom bar) that you can always activate on demand, independently from the character you are controlling, simply pressing “Z” for Samuel’s Hyperspace, “X” for DjPisti’s OtherView, “C” for PierFunk’s “WaterHeal”.
